Claims reimbursement made easier

Follow these steps for reimbursement of eligible medical expenses you have paid out of your own pocket :

01 See your healthcare practitioner and Pay for your medical expenses
02 Send your itemised medical bills and proof of payment via our Easy Claim app.
03 Please keep the originals for a maximum period of 1 year. Note that we reserve the right to request a Claim Form at any time.
04 In 5 to 10 working days, you will receive an email letting you know that we have processed your claim, with an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) showing breakdown of benefits paid and in some cases, requests for information.
05 Reimbursement of your claims expenses will be in USD or any major currency, via a method convenient to you.

Make sure you get an itemised bill, receipt and referral letter (where applicable) before you leave.

My doctor says I need to be hospitalised or require surgery
Hospitalisations, outpatient surgery and rehabilitation treatment must be pre-authorised in advance, otherwise
a 20% co-payment may apply.

Submit your request on Easy Claim
OR
Submit an Advance Request Form at least 5 working days prior to your treatment to begin the pre-authorisation process.

Your treatment is pre-authorised.
Where possible, we will place a letter of guarantee with the hospitals so you only have to be responsible for items not covered the policy.

Your treatment is not pre-authorised.
We will contact you immediately and discuss alternative options with you.

Direct payment of local and international hospital charges.
Whenever possible, we will arrange for your hospital bills to be settled directly, anywhere in the world. We will take care of it!

Our electronic claims submission service allows you to submit your medical invoices for reimbursement in just a few clicks! You can also check their status in your claims history.

02 Display & download your electronic member card
Find your policy number on your member card. This number will be required if you need to contact our team.

Looking for a hospital, a general practitioner or a specialist around you? Use our GPS to search and locate medical practitioners in Asia.

05 Request a treatment pre-approval
Major treatments such a surgeries or medical investigations require a pre-approval from APRIL. To make the process smoother, send us your request on Easy Claim and our medical team will get in touch with you!
